ARTICLE 31
To see if the town will vote to re-establish the inclusion in the annual town report beginning in 2010, salaries paid to all public employees as well as an itemized list of payments made or scheduled to be made to all vendors and/or contractors utilized for any purpose during the fiscal year for which the town report was issued.
In my research it appears that the town annual report included this information from as far back as I looked (1980) until 2005, the latest one I could find in the Moultonborough Library. The annual reports included "public assistance” payments as well. I'm surprised that at the warrant hearing last month no one seemed to recall this information being in the town report or when and why it was discontinued.
It's hard to justify not supporting this warrant article (as the Selectmen did not) and still claim to be in favor of open and transparent government.

The powers of the town do not want you to see the special deals that are allowed with our schools and town government.
the school is supporting familys and friends.Do you see the advertising that is allowed entering the gym and main door? The special interest groups are getting special favors with road work.If their is nothing to hide, let the public see it on their terms(the back of our Town Reports),not paying $.50 a copy at the town hall. And do not be swayed because of the cost,it is peanuts compaired to keeping a true open government.Vote both articles in for the School and the Town Sat March 13.
I don't get to the school auditorium. Who is advertising there? I say we don't support those businesses. I don't recall that being open to all in town. Sort of like the "volunteers" who will do some work at the new lions field.
I see this failed at TM? How did the BoS vote to the stripped-down version of article that took out welfare payments and everything below $1,OOO
WHO IS REALLY FOR OPEN GOVERNMENR?
