Did the town also provided figures for what the increases are in healthcare costs and town employees raises?

Article 15 for StatesLanding Beach is just a " placeholder " or a " study " Or a Bait and Switch. Project cost is near half a million to clean the lake bottom of dead leaves, and there is another $ 1.2 million proposed for a Disneyesque theme park.
Our local " boost the economy is going well. This month we get a UNH report on " build the gym "... A broadband report on " build the Internet," and soon we will hear from the village vision, and the results ( $$ ) of the wage revamp for town employees. Can't forget the Preserve either. Such a busy town. All that lakefront money is a curse.

20 years ago the states landing beach was a gem. there was a life guard, swim floats, tables and a great feel to it. the town let it fall in disrepair. time to fix it.

Anonymous @ 2:50 is right fix States Landing Beach. The lake is our Golden Goose. Taxpayer money is better spent cleaning up the beach and water than on rehabbing the baseball field at Playground Drive, a new gymnasium, sidewalks and the like.

Anon at 2:50 is right...the town let it go into disrepair. Sadly, the T A has no idea that maintaining a clean lake bottom will take annual maintence, raking out the leaves that settle in to the bottom in the fall. When asked how long a major cleaning would last, he hipshot 15 years. Unless he learns of the need for yearly cleaning, this will be a waste of money. It is a shame that the town never maintained it. Sometimes they just do not listen, or think they know it all..
