MoBo ConCom bylaws state 5 members @section III.

Statute allows 3-7 members.

Looks like more than 5 members in the video and on the town website.

Maybe the Feb. 8, 2011 bylaws need to be updated.

Thank you for your services, however!

Conservation is still chomping at the bit to buy land contiguous to the Red Hill River, and call it the Lee Pond Preserve. Months ago tis started with the statement that they had to go out and preserve something..prove we are green..we have never done a deal. And then this land came along. There is one clear reason to buy it. That would protect Lee Pond landowners from possible encroachment. Other reasons are fluff. The wildlife corridor is actually 1,000 ft. Further east, and documents one roadkill a month. Has anyone seen the bodies there?Historic deep in the woods, 2 cellar holes...Preserve for what? Protect the river...that's DONE. Steep ragged slopes are not desirable building lots, the septic rules dictate safe setbacks, and the 5 acre marsh at the river mouth, the big filter is protected by law. Lee Pond owners, and private treehuggers can spend all they want, but public money would be wasted here.
