Cooking with Gretchen at Castle in the Clouds

Learn to cook like a professional chef with Gretchen Shortway, at Cooking with Gretchen; classes are on May 14th, 21st and 28th from 10:30 AM – 1:30 PM. 

Have you ever wanted to cook fantastic food like a professional chef?  Now is your chance!  Castle in the Clouds will host a series of three cooking classes with Gretchen Shortway, the Executive Chef of our award winning restaurant.  Join Gretchen for one, two or all three of her classes at the Carriage House Restaurant.  Best of all, enjoy the fruits of your labors after class! Each participant will receive a special gift to take home. 
On May 14, Gretchen will lead a vegetarian friendly class, with topics including: Gretchen’s Must Have Tools for the kitchen; the art of the artichoke; and how to make salad dressings.  On May 21, Gretchen will teach Kale & Pasta: Making it Your Own.  Learn how to use the popular green in your daily life and how you can spice up the recipe to make a signature dish of your own.  May 28th is all about chicken!  Gretchen will teach you everything you need to know to handle and cook a chicken in your kitchen.
