After all we have been through as a city and as one undivided nation, to have a United States senator running for president paint New York as a city consumed with greed and media obsession is shocking." Former NYC Mayor Rudy Guilliani.

Gotta say, I agree with Mayor Rudy. Born and raised in NYC, I personally found Ted Cruz's " New York values" to be disturbing, not just as a New Yorker, but for his painting every New Yorker with one broad brush. Great way to bring the country together Ted.
The push back in the media was all over the place, from Saturday  Night Live to this cartoon below. Scroll all the way down for the real NY values.  Rudy got it right. So did the Daily News.

Saturday Night Live may have hit on the true meaning of Ted's comments in this spoof.

My favorite though is this  from the New York Daily News.

I did a double take when reading the header. I got to the end and realized it said "Senator". I thought it was going to a Trump piece.

Something about political phenomenon this year!
Maybe its that sqeeky voice again :) Power to the people ... if not illegal aliens!

The attached link might get my vote for president.

By the way, how many folks are going to be speaking at the candidates night. I think the 20th to 29th is the window to register for running for town office.

Glad some of us are not running for anything.

... running away maybe!
