Reminder: Three Events in the Coming Week

Moultonborough Lions Club to host Boston College Jazz Ensemble Saturday October 15th at the Moultonborough Community Auditorium.
 Advance tickets may be purchased at Aubuchon Hardware, Bayswater Books, Cup and Crumb, E.M. Heath Supermarket and MVSB in Center Harbor and Moultonborough.  Tickets may also be purchased at the door the night of the concert.  The cost is $18 for adults and $7 for students.
All concert proceeds directly support Lions Club volunteer service projects in Center Harbor, Sandwich, Tuftonboro and Moultonborough. Any questions may be directed to Lions Club President Mark Cotrupi, at 476-5140.

A Healthy Discussion of the Issues at Tuftonboro Town House, Thursday October 20th
For those frustrated by this election season, with its constant name calling and lack of attention to issues of real concern, help is on the way! Join a group of interested citizens for Cider and Issues: Taking a look at Healthcare, Women's Reproductive Health and Aging, in New HampshireThursday, October 20, 6:30 - 8:30, Tuftonboro Town House, 247 Middle Rd. (Route 109A), Tuftonboro. Discussion inducing refreshments will be served. The panel will be moderated by Mike Lancor, former Superintendent of Schools in Moultonborough.
The public is encouraged to come to this interesting evening of information and discussion, sponsored by the Democratic Committees of Moultonborough, Sandwich, and Tuftonboro. For more information call Cindy Stanton at 253-6470.

Moultonborough Candidates Forum Friday October 21st at the Lions Club
The  forum will be held on October 21st from 6:30 to 8:30 pm at the Moultonborough Lions' Club (Old Route 109 in Moultonborough).  The event is being sponsored by the Moultonborough Academy Class of 2018.  All candidates on the ballot running for local offices are invited.  Lee Quimby will be the Moderator.The format will follow that adopted in past election cycles in the forums moderated by Lee in Sandwich.  Each candidate will be invited to speak for three or four minutes on issues key to his or her campaign, to be followed by questions from the audience.  Questions will not be pre-screened, but will be limited in number because of time constraints.
