Not the one that has been on TV for 24 hours. This is about a town in Iraq liberated from ISIS, that was able to celebrate Christmas in peace for the first time in more than two years. CNN has the story of the small town of Bartella that ISIS occupied and almost destroyed more than two years ago.
The ceremony was under heavy security and much of whats left of the town is uninhabitable, but the event sparks a glimmer of hope, however feint.
Life long resident Nori Younani said of the day's events " "ISIS had brought down the cross and set it on fire but we are here again lighting our candles. We have to have hope in this life. If we don't have hope then we are finished."
