Master Plan Public Hearing Wednesday February 8th 7pm

The Planning Board will hold a Public Hearing at the Moultonborough Town Hall at 7:00 P.M. The proposed amendments to the Master Plan will remove and replace the existing Vision, Land Use and Transportation Chapters and to add a new Executive Summary to create the 2016 Master Plan. A full copy of the text of each proposed chapter is available for review on the Town’s website (Master Plan Chapters-Draft.)

Under RSA674:1, a municipal planning board has the duty “to prepare and amend from time to time a master plan to guide the development of the municipality.”

For an interesting read on the history of planning in NH, this article on the NH OEP website is well worth the time.
