That may or may not be true, but its how they see things over there.
I don't entirely agree with the article, but it certainly points to how complex the pursuit of peace in the middle east and the fight against ISIS continues to be. The region consists of many factions, some based on different sects of Islam that have been at odds with each other for centuries.
Presumptive Sec, of State Rex Tillerson, who I personally support for this role, will have his hands full in this region as have had just about all of his predecessors.
